Olajide Alabi (CEOJAY) is a film director, creative executive, and cultural storyteller whose work exists at the intersection of art, identity, and global visual culture. Raised in Ibadan, Nigeria and creatively developed in New York City, his perspective is shaped by dual worlds — heritage and innovation, memory and ambition.

Following the loss of his 9–5 job during the COVID-19 pandemic, Olajide transitioned fully into visual storytelling, building his skills through self-education, experimentation, and collaboration. This evolution led to the founding of Kaban Studios, a creative production company focused on cinematic storytelling, brand partnerships, and artist-driven visual worlds.

His portfolio includes work with BET, Spotify, Juvia’s Place, Facebook (Meta), and Bermuda, alongside deep creative collaborations with leading African artists. He currently serves as Creative Director for Pheelz and Content Director for Adekunle Gold, and is recognized internationally for directing the award-nominated music video People by Libianca.

Beyond commercial projects, Olajide develops long-form cultural work including exhibitions and documentary-driven storytelling. His project Ibadan Raised, NYC Made reflects his personal journey across continents, exploring migration, memory, and identity through visual art and film.

With a commitment to building generational art and cultural infrastructure, Olajide continues to expand his creative impact through storytelling, community-building, and global collaboration.
