I see cover art as a time capsule. I ask myself: if I had this on vinyl in my home, would I still want to look at it 10 years from now? Would it take me back to the exact moment it was created?
For me, cover art should be story-driven, timeless, and deeply connected to the world around the music. It should capture more than the sound it should preserve a feeling, a place, an era, and a moment in time.
Because years later, the artwork should do more than remind you of the record. It should remind you of who you were when you first heard it.
